Account Manager Job Summary

S2S Group are currently recruiting an experienced and enthusiastic Account Manager to join our team, which is based in Manvers, Rotherham.

This is an exciting time of growth at S2S Group. Our Account Managers are responsible for looking after our key customers, ensuring each department within the operation meets the customers’ needs and requirements, whilst generating and building new business.

The ideal candidate will be flexible, motivated and have great communication and relationship-building skills. We’re searching for someone reliable, driven with high attention to detail. Previous Account Management experience is essential; we are seeking someone with a passionate and enthusiastic personality.

Your main role is to work alongside our Operations and Sales Teams to manage the company’s relationship with our customers. You will be expected to build long term relationships with our key customers, to enable the relationship and business to grow and you will also be assigned projects and planning tasks as well as been tasked with finding new business.

Account Manager Key Responsibilities

  • Familiarise yourself with the services offered by S2S
  • Operate as a point of contact for assigned customers
  • Generate sales amongst customer accounts, including upselling and cross-selling
  • Proactively identify new opportunities and deliver innovative solutions to customers
  • Build strong business relationships with key decision makers
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with accounts
  • Communicate customer needs to the teams
  • Forecast and track customer account metrics
  • Manage projects within customer relationships, working to carry our customer goals whilst meeting company goals.
  • Identify opportunities to grow business with existing customers
  • Collaborate with the sales team to reach prospective customers
  • Service multiple customer concurrently to meet deadlines

Account Manager Key Skills & Knowledge:

  • Experience within the IT industry or relevant sector
  • Proven Account Manager Experience
  • Ability to communicate Customer needs
  • Project Management Skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and relationships simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication Skills
  • Outstanding organisational and time-management skills
  • Experience of working in a fast paced, pressurised environment
  • Positive, enthusiastic approach
  • Confident telephone manner
  • Ability to use web-based software packages
  • Ability to use all Microsoft Applications including Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Full and clean driving licence
