                  Job Overview

                  We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Operations Manager to oversee and optimise our day-to-day operations. This individual will be responsible for ensuring efficiency, productivity, and quality across all areas of the business. The role involves implementing and monitoring processes to ensure effective resource allocation, smooth operation, and the achievement of organisational goals.

                  The Operations Manager will play a key role in cross-departmental collaboration, maximising productivity, and minimising costs while maintaining high service standards. This is a leadership position requiring an innovative, engaging, and reliable individual who can challenge existing processes and drive continual improvement.

                  Key Responsibilities

                  • Oversee and optimise daily operations to ensure efficiency and quality across the organisation.
                  • Develop and implement operational processes to improve resource allocation and workflow.
                  • Manage budgets effectively, ensuring cost control and profitability.
                  • Lead, manage, and motivate the operations and logistics team, ensuring high performance and professional development.
                  • Plan and coordinate workloads and routes for drivers to maximise efficiency and service delivery.
                  • Maintain daily contact with clients to ensure satisfaction and effective communication.
                  • Foster cross-departmental collaboration to enhance overall productivity and business performance.
                  • Monitor and assess performance metrics, implementing strategies for continuous improvement.
                  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and health & safety standards.
                  • Identify and implement innovative solutions to improve operations and customer experience.
                  • Support the directors in strategic planning and business development initiatives.

                      • Proven experience in operations management, logistics, or a similar role.
                      • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and challenge a team.
                      • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
                      • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and control costs effectively.
                      • Experience in planning and coordinating logistics and resource allocation.
                      • Strong customer-facing experience, with a focus on client satisfaction and relationship management.
                      • Ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives across the business.
                      • High level of organisational and strategic planning skills.
                      • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
