With a first prize of £1,000 on offer for the winning golf professional, this prestigious Charity Golf Day is to be held at Lees Hall Golf Club in Sheffield on Friday, September 30th.
Michael is hoping to attract at least 30 teams in support of the local charities.
IT asset management company S2S Group and IMH Recruitment are the two main sponsors of the PRO-AM which is sanctioned by the PGA in their annual calendar.
Michael took over the Yorkshire PGA captaincy in May this year and working in conjunction with the PGA, Lees Hall Golf Club, and both S2S Group and IMH Recruitment aim to raise £5,000 on the day.

The main beneficiary of the funds raised are Paces, a specialist center, charity, and school for individuals with Cerebral Palsy and motor disorders based in Sheffield, UK.
Each team will consist of a PGA professional, partnered with three amateurs, with the first prize of £1,000 and further pro and amateur prizes for the top six teams.
The cost to enter the Charity Golf Day Pro-Am is only £210. With coffee and a bacon sandwich on arrival and a meal afterward, the event represents excellent value for money.
Michael Ramsden said, “I am delighted to host this Charity Golf Day event at my home club. As Yorkshire PGA Captain I was keen to promote a local charity Pro-Am, and the generous sponsorship of S2S Group and IMH Recruitment will hopefully make this become an annual event in the golfing calendar.”
