Total collected for local foodbanks

In total S2S Group donated 71kg to the 3 chosen foodbanks, exceeding our goal every month. This campaign stems from the 2021 foodbank donation where S2S Group donated 4 large shopping bags full of toiletries and non-perishable foods to the St.Saviour’s Church, High Green.

Helping to support the amazing work done by local charities

Members of S2S Group’s staff got the opportunity to talk to the amazing staff and volunteers at each foodbank and learn how much hard work they put in to supporting the community. Not only do these foodbanks provide and serve food and food parcels but they also provide further support by providing a facility for people to visit to build a community for people to create friendships, educate others on careers, and provide financial advice, guidance, and support.

Winter has been highlighted as the highest likely time for the public to struggle with both food and financial worries, especially with the cost of living crisis. Therefore, S2S Group chose October, November, and December as target months to donate to these local foodbanks.

S2S Group’s continued work in the community

Not only does S2S Group aspire to make a positive impact on our environment, but it is also dedicated to supporting the well-being of the community too. Whether it’s sponsoring local sports teams and helping individuals with the potential to go far or taking part in charity fundraisers – S2S Group gives something back.
