S2S Group – Continuing support for the Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust

The Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust (YDMT) has published its latest YDMT Annual Impact Report 2023 outlining the achievements of the partnership with S2S Group so far. The aims of the trust are to look after the spectacular Dales landscape, support rural communities, and help everyone enjoy and understand the Yorkshire Dales.

Included in the aims of the trust is working to conserve and restore native habitats and wildlife, like wildflower-rich meadows, wetlands, and broadleaf woodlands.

YDMT organisational aims 2023-2026

Over the next three years, the trust in partnership with businesses like S2S Group aims to support people, landscapes, and wildlife for future generations. In order to achieve this the trust will; enable the planting of 100,000 trees and shrubs, develop a network of community tree nurseries, engage a minimum of 300 individuals in woodland activities, and much much more.

S2S Group has actively supported the trust for over 2 years now in achieving its goals through donations and employee volunteering days.

So far S2S Group the partnership between S2S Group and the trust has resulted in:

• Donations totaling £10,000
• Supported the planting of 1,000 trees
• Offsetting an estimated 160 tonnes of carbon over the next 50 years
