S2S Group Raises Over £500 for The National Autistic Society Through Annual Steps Challenge
S2S Group, March 2026
We have successfully raised over £500 for The National Autistic Society through our annual charity Steps Challenge
This marks our first fundraising event since announcing our official charity partnership in March 2026.
About the challenge
This year’s challenge took place throughout April, aligning with World Autism Acceptance Month, helping not only to raise vital funds but also to increase awareness and understanding of autism across the business and wider community. The timing of the initiative was intentional, reinforcing the importance of visibility, inclusion, and acceptance during a globally recognised awareness month.
This year’s challenge went with a bang, bringing together employees from across the business alongside guests from marketing agency Fantastic. Over an energetic two-week period, teams competed head-to-head on a live leaderboard to clock up as many steps as possible, turning everyday movement into meaningful impact for charity.
We had 35 participants in total, who achieved an incredible 10,796,137 steps, equivalent to 4,810.9 miles – meaning the S2S and Fantastic teams could collectively have walked across multiple European countries, including France, Germany, Spain, Italy, and Poland. The challenge not only encouraged well-being and friendly competition but also demonstrated the power of collective effort in supporting a vital cause.

Standout performances and record breakers
A number of impressive individual and team achievements helped drive momentum throughout the challenge:
Their efforts helped energise the wider competition and keep engagement high right through to the final day.

Fundraising with impact
Alongside the steps challenge total, S2S Group colleagues came together at the end of the event for a celebratory post-challenge pizza gathering at the company’s site. The occasion also featured a charity bake sale, which raised over £100, further boosting the overall donation total.
Combined with the Steps Challenge fundraising, the event contributed £550 in total support for The National Autistic Society.
A shared commitment to community
The initiative reflects S2S Group’s continued commitment to supporting causes that matter deeply to its employees and their families, with many colleagues having personal connections to autism. Running the challenge during World Autism Acceptance Month further strengthened its purpose, helping to drive conversation, awareness, and understanding alongside fundraising efforts.
S2S Group extends its sincere thanks to everyone who took part or supported the challenge, whether through donations, engagement with social media updates, or encouraging words that helped keep teams motivated throughout. Every contribution played a part in making the initiative a success.
As the first fundraising event of the 2026 partnership, the Steps Challenge has set a strong foundation for future activity, with S2S Group already looking ahead to building on this momentum in support of The National Autistic Society.
