S2S Group Named as Proud Sponsors of the England Police Rugby Union Football Club
At S2S Group, we are proud to support organisations and initiatives that align with our values, our industry, and the communities we work alongside every day.
That is why we are delighted to announce our sponsorship of the England Police RUFC (EPRUFC) for the 2026 season, including shirt sponsorship of their recent tour to Argentina and Uruguay.
As a business that works closely with the police and wider emergency services sector to deliver secure, safe and compliant IT Asset Disposal (ITAD) solutions that minimise risk through the proper management of redundant IT and technology equipment, this partnership is highly valuable.
Why is this sponsorship important to S2S Group?
The opportunity to sponsor the EPRUFC team for their 2026 season and tour felt like a natural fit for S2S Group. As one of the most highly accredited ITAD firms in the UK, we work closely with public sector organisations, including regional police forces and ambulance services, to protect their data security and manage risks when recycling or disposing of redundant electronic and IT assets.
Often, IT equipment used within public sector organisations stores large amounts of highly sensitive and personal data, so it is important to manage the disposal process professionally and compliantly. If ITAD is not managed properly, organisations can be left exposed to risks such as data loss, fines and reputational damage.
Supporting initiatives like the EPRUFC within the emergency services sector is therefore important in helping us to further our mission to educate and reach more organisations in this industry, as well as giving back to those who have served for our country.
How does this partnership reflect the values and culture of S2S Group?
At S2S Group, we place a huge emphasis on teamwork, trust, resilience, and long-term relationships. Those are qualities that are deeply rooted in both rugby and policing, so this partnership aligns very closely with our culture as a business and the work we do in sectors like emergency services, security and defence.
We also strongly believe in supporting organisations that contribute positively to their community and public safety. Working with the EPRUFC team allows us to show that support in a meaningful way, while building stronger ties with individuals and emergency services organisations we already work closely alongside.
At S2S Group, our clients rely on us to deliver secure, compliant, and dependable services. That level of responsibility requires our team to work together effectively, remain accountable, and consistently perform to a high standard. Those shared values are a big part of why this partnership made so much sense to us.
What events have you already been involved with as part of the sponsorship?
To kick off our partnership, Group Commercial Officer David Woodriff and I attended the Detego Global 4 Nations Police Rugby Championship Double Header at Sale FC Rugby Club on 6 May 2026. The occasion marked the finale of the 2025/26 Nations season, in which the England team finished second for the third year in a row.
The sporting event was an incredible occasion and a fantastic opportunity to connect with representatives from police forces across the UK while supporting the team ahead of their international tour. Those conversations and connections are incredibly valuable to us as we continue to grow our presence within the emergency services sector.
The Double Header acted as a warm-up for the EPRUFC team before they headed to South America for their 2026 tour. S2S Group was proud to be a shirt sponsor as the team played teams in Argentina and Uruguay, taking the England badge to a new continent and marking a significant step forward in the club’s international story.
What impact will the sponsorship have on the sector and community?
So far, our sponsorship has helped to support a successful 2026 tour for the players and coaches involved with the EPRUFC team. Not only did the players have the opportunity to travel together and gain exposure playing on an international level, but they also built resilience and solidified teamwork whilst representing their country.
From an industry perspective, through this sponsorship, we hope to raise awareness of the important role that secure ITAD plays within policing and the wider emergency services sector. At S2S Group, we prioritise the highest security standards during the disposal of a wide range of IT assets, ensuring that our clients’ sensitive data is protected throughout the entire process. This commitment is reinforced by certification from reputable bodies, including ADISA Standard 8.0, which serves as a guarantee of full GDPR compliance.
Following the Championship event, valuable conversations have already opened thanks to the opportunity to connect directly with representatives from forces across the UK. We look forward to continuing those discussions moving forward.
What plans do you have to continue your work in the emergency services sector?
Later this year, we will be exhibiting at the Emergency Services Show at the NEC in Birmingham, where we hope to catch up with many of our contacts and extend our network within the industry.
We look forward to continuing our partnership with the EPRUFC team over the next year, and to seeing what the future has to hold for the team and our work in the emergency services sector.
