S2S Electronics is formed
Manufacturing electronic products, based in Huddersfield.
1996
Bruce Electronics is formed
Recycling computers and IT equipment, as part of Bruce Metals, based in Sheffield.
2002
RID is formed
Focussing on WEEE Recycling, in partnership with S2S Electronics.
2007
Merge of companies
S2S Electronics, Bruce Electronics & RID merge together to create one entity for recycling WEEE and IT.
2010
S2S Group is formed
Change of name and new owner Grant Barton
2012
New building in Rotherham
Move to a 45,000 sq.ft secure processing facility in Rotherham. Focussing on IT Data Destruction, with 15 staff.
2017
Milestone anniversary
S2S Group celebrates its 30th Birthday.
2019
S2S Group moves again
Move to £2,000,000 facility at Farfield Park.
2020
The end of lockdown
Lockdown is over, performance is good throughout and came out better and stronger.
2021
Highest turnover year
S2S Group hit its highest turnover year, reaching £4million & increases to 35 staff.
2022
New turnover goal hit
S2S Group hits £4.5 million turnover and increases even more to 40+ staff members and continues to grow. Acquired Glasgow Computer Recycling.
