That is why we are delighted to announce our sponsorship of the England Police RUFC (EPRUFC) for the 2026 season, including shirt sponsorship of their recent tour to Argentina and Uruguay.

In this blog, our Chief Commercial Officer, Chris Hare, shares his thoughts on why this partnership matters to us, how it will benefit the EPRUFC team and wider emergency services sector, and what we hope to gain from it moving forward.

The opportunity to sponsor the EPRUFC team for their 2026 season and tour felt like a natural fit for S2S Group. As one of the most highly accredited ITAD firms in the UK, we work closely with public sector organisations, including regional police forces and ambulance services, to protect their data security and manage risks when recycling or disposing of redundant electronic and IT assets.

Often, IT equipment used within public sector organisations stores large amounts of highly sensitive and personal data, so it is important to manage the disposal process professionally and compliantly. Supporting initiatives like the EPRUFC within the emergency services sector is therefore important in helping us to further our mission to educate and reach more organisations in this industry, as well as giving back to those who have served our country.

To kick off our partnership, Group Commercial Director, David Woodriff, and I attended the Detago Global 4 Nations Police Rugby Championship Double Header at Sale FC Rugby Club on the 6th May 2026. The occasion marked the finale of the 2025/26 Nations season, in which the England team finished second for the third year in a row.

The sporting event was an incredible occasion and a fantastic opportunity to connect with representatives from police forces across the UK while supporting the team ahead of their international tour. Those conversations and connections are incredibly valuable to us as we continue to grow our presence within the emergency services sector.

The Double Header acted as a warm-up for the EPRUFC team before they headed to South America for their 2026 tour. S2S Group was proud to be an office kit sponsor for the tour. The EPRUFC played teams in Argentina and Uruguay, taking the England badge to a new continent and marking a significant step forward in the club’s international story.

So far, our sponsorship has helped to support a successful 2026 tour for the players and coaches involved with the EPRUFC team. Not only did the players have the opportunity to travel together and gain exposure playing on an international level, but they also built resilience and solidified teamwork whilst representing their country. 

Through this sponsorship, we aim to raise awareness of the important role secure ITAD plays in policing and the wider emergency services sector.
