S2S Group oversees the process by retrieving old thin clients and delivering new devices to the bank’s remote workers. After collection, the team transports the outdated devices to the bank’s headquarters for assessment. Depending on their condition, S2S Group will advise whether to refurbish for reuse or securely destroy them. Real-Time Asset Tracking with Trakk-IT
A key component of this operation is S2S Group’s custom-built Trakk-IT portal, which offers real-time asset tracking. This system lets the bank track every device during collection and redistribution. It offers a clear view of asset management and data security. Since July 2024, S2S Group has successfully collected and redistributed over 220 thin clients in this ongoing project. Thin clients differ from traditional PCs as they lack a local hard drive and rely on a central server for applications, data, and memory.
