The S2S Group team came together to collect and donate essential items for The Archer Project, a Sheffield-based charity dedicated to supporting people experiencing homelessness in the region. Rachel Hall and Ruby Parker had the honour of delivering the donations and volunteering to serve breakfast at The Archer Project’s site.

The experience was heart-warming and inspiring, especially when one of the individuals shared the exciting news that he had just secured a new job. It was a reminder of the impact we can all have in supporting each other, and it was humbling to witness the dedication of The Archer Project’s staff and fellow volunteers.

Beyond volunteering, our team is also involved in supporting other local charities like YWCA Yorkshire. YWCA Yorkshire is one of S2S Group’s chosen charities to support throughout 2024 and it’s a charity that supports women, children and families through a range of accommodation, support, empowerment and advocacy services.

Our team joined forces with YWCA Yorkshire at Tesco in Wath to promote their raffle, where each £1 ticket could win one of their fantastic hampers. The raffle isn’t just about winning great prizes; it’s about raising funds to support YWCA Yorkshire’s mission.

For the past three years, S2S Group has proudly supported YWCA Yorkshire by organising an annual Christmas present drop-off, ensuring that every child and adult benefiting from YWCA’s services receives a gift, to help make the holiday season brighter for those in need. It was heart-warming to know that these presents would bring some joy to the lives of YWCA beneficiaries this Christmas.

At S2S Group, we understand the importance of staying connected. To support YWCA further, we donated four mobile phones to help individuals access vital services. These phones will provide a lifeline for many who rely on technology for corporate communication and support.

We are a small charity with a big job to do, and donations of any type or size are greatly received and accepted. Not only does S2S Group support our children, young people and families, but they also support staff with tech devices such as smartphones and computer screens, making their roles more efficient and supporting employee wellbeing.

In partnership with Sheffield United Football Club (SUFC), S2S Group is hosting a Boxing Day football ticket giveaway to raise funds for The Archer Project.

We have four exclusive tickets up for grabs for the Sheffield United vs. Burnley FC match on 26th December. The lucky winners will enjoy seats in the exclusive 1889 Director’s Box, a meal in the award-winning restaurant, complimentary drinks, and more!

This has been a fantastic opportunity to support a great cause while enjoying an exciting football match.

S2S Group’s teams participated in National Christmas Jumper Day and hosted a charity bake sale, bringing Christmas cheer to the workplace. Not only did we enjoy delicious treats and show off our best Christmas jumpers, but we also extended our fundraising efforts to purchase and maintain an on-site defibrillator for the facility.

This cause holds special significance for the S2S Group team, and it was inspiring to see everyone come together, whether by baking treats or buying them, to support this important initiative.
